Bad news: My figurine is not as perfect as I would like. She fell over the oven, her hat brim got squashed, her hand is so wonky, so wonky. And she cannot stand on her own.

Good news: After I had beaten myself over the head with woe for a bit, I looked again and realised it wasn't as bad as I had originally thought! I put soft clay under her feet so she can stand, the brim is not as bad I had feared! Can't do anything about the hand, but I knew that when I put her in the oven.

Anyway, have some photos. You've seen them already if you've been on my Tumblr.

Most* of my figurine work can be viewed at this public album.

One day, Makimachi Misao will be up there too, because I have been meaning to make her since I started working with polymer clay.

*I made a Charizard for a friend some time ago that I haven't uploaded, aaaand I have another RuroKen figurine whose photos I need to edit.

I will not cut this because it is a trophy of my triumph.

I woke up at half past eight this morning, because I was ~inspired~ before I went to bed last night. I worked until 1:10 pm. She is now in the oven.

There is a record on Twitter of my sobbing about the pain because omg so many tiny things wtf. But then her head was done, and I attached it to her body, and then the cute overload made everything worth it! Look at my tiny magician!

This is Trucy Wright, she is a magician-in-training. She has a father, who adopted her when she was eight, but he has not seen fit to give her a mother (yet, she hopes). Trucy is the breadwinner of the family, because her daddy is too busy being either a layabout or an idealistic foolish fool who tries to fix broken courts of law. But he always finds the time to help her con people into joining their talent agency (Trucy is the CEO!), which is why he is the best.

She is also my favourite of the new Apollo Justice characters. Old AA characters cannot be included, because otherwise I would be forced to choose between Trucy and Detective Ema Skye. That would be difficult.

(And the oven went off! She's done!)

I have a post on [livejournal.com profile] foresthouseeyes where I am auctioning off three lots of clay things, including figurines such as Trucy. If you want me to make you something like this (or even not like this; something like the Shinsengumi flag is also fair game), you can place a bid here.

(FYI, flist, this post is public, in case people have followed me over from there to see what I've made. Also because I am showing Trucy off. Seriously, she is the most adorable. I have not captured the full power of her adorableness in this one thing.)

I'm eighteen. Happy birthday to me!

Today I made a little Fakir. He has a quill behind his right ear and a duckling on his head. Picture quality sucks, so I can't provide pictures. In honour of Halloween, I also made a Merv Pumpkinhead. I stuck a cigarette where his mouth should be, so he looks more nonplussed that usual.

I'm taking a break from the Internet. Don't worry, I'll be back soon enough.

See you! :)
