Okay, I've decided on my ToK presentation topic: Are comic books literature?
We're not meant to answer the question, but instead to 'go through the motions of answering the question' in order to test our ToK principles and blah blah blah.
Basically, I need to present the topic in a fair manner, which means that I need superhero genre comics. Unfortunately what time I spend in the comic section I usually use to browse through the Vertigo line or looking for manga because both Marvel and DC scare me. I've read Young Avengers, Runaways and Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane from Marvel, and the first few books of Green Arrow as well as Identity Crisis from DC.
But I'd like to ask for your recommendations on excellently written or drawn superhero comics as well as some of the worst comics to ever see print. I don't mean the gag comics, but something like Liefield's art in terms of art or writing.

scans_daily for recs, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks, guys.
